Change is good but old New York may be better. We know things change, all things are impermanent, especially, our very own Flower Flashes! When we first started making them, they lasted a day, now they’re gone in a matter of hours. It started with subway tokens, then public phone booths, and now the iconic garbage bins that hold our larger-than-life Flower Flashes are quickly disappearing. You’d be hard pressed to find a true New Yorker who doesn’t have a running list of lost places, times and feelings they long to go back to. That’s why this holiday season, LMD is drawing inspiration from New York City, herself. Designed in collaboration with interior designer Amanda Lindroth, LMD has created a miniature Flower Flash vase and floral arrangement. Every little detail has been thoughtfully chosen, from the "sanitation green" raffia that wraps around the vase in a diamond pattern, a subtle nod to our scarce litter bins, to the Flower Flash stencil that looks curiously like an old Metropolitan Museum of Art metal, litho admission tab. (Hint: that’s because it is!) We even dotted the blooms with art made by some of our favorite collaborators. When you purchase a miniature Flower Flash arrangement, you will either receive a mini Scott Froschauer Street Sign, a Grumpy Pigeon Sticker made by Caryn Cast or a Pigeon Crossing Sign made by Love Jenna Calligraphy. The end result is a gorgeous and sumptuous floral arrangement inspired by the Flower Bandit’s over-the-top street art installations, using the season’s most beautiful, blooms. The vase also doubles as a beautiful hurricane for pillar candles. To purchase just the vase please visit: https://amandalindroth.com
